Terms of service grades for popular websites

Nobody reads the terms. We ran them through Fine Print Guard, which grades each site's terms of service and privacy policy A to F and links every finding to the exact sentence. Here's how the sites you use every day score.

More sites are being added. Grades can change when a site updates its terms, so each row shows the date it was checked. Read the full breakdown of Google's terms.

Check any site yourself

Add Fine Print Guard to Chrome and a grade appears on its icon for every site you visit. It's free, it blocks ads, pop-ups and trackers too, and pages are read on your computer.

How the grade works

Fine Print Guard looks for clauses such as selling or sharing your data, taking rights to your content, training AI on what you type, tracking your location and forced arbitration. Serious findings pull the grade down more than minor ones. It is automatic, not legal advice, and it can miss things, which is why every finding links to the original sentence.
